Hutt International Boys' School has brother-school agreements providing scholarships for HIBS students to study abroad and for International students to study at HIBS.
Tour groups are also accommodated with International students improving their English proficiency through classroom instruction and interaction with HIBS students and host families.
The touring students also get to experience 'Kiwiana' with visits to local landmarks, horse riding, farm shows, skiing / snowboarding, white-water rafting, abseiling etc. HIBS students travelling overseas study their chosen language in safe and supportive surroundings and learn through instruction and cultural experience.
The exchanges provide an insight into how different nationalities live and challenge our students to broaden their international outlook, knowledge and understanding.
